Mischa Barton was born on on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. The O.C. is a popular TV series which was a part of her. alongside Benjamin McKenzie who played her romantic interest. She was paired with Benjamin McKenzie who was the role of her love interest. Barton was first seen on television in her appearance in 1994 when she played an untold Corvina in flashbacks from the soap drama All My Children. She was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg, who had appeared as Lily Benton Montgomery in the series. In Romania she was hailed as a hero. Comaneci won two additional medals with gold in her nine total in the Olympics in the year following. In 1996 Comaneci was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was honoured with a special award from ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of the 100 most Important women of the 20th Century. Comaneci was got married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April of 1996. They have their son Dylan Paul. Together they own several gymnastics-related businesses, including the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is also involved in a variety of charities being a part of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. After a decade, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of many other charitable organizations in her homeland of Romania. This includes those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
